Well they have a better understanding of the situation, and directly suffer from consequences and terrorism. Over 1000 Pakistani people have lost their lives due to terrorism.
Yes why doesn’t US try to invade Pakistan, why not ask Admiral Mullen (Joint Chief of Staff), who said we have no interest in engagement with Pakistan. Iraq is working out fine isn’t it?
Pakistan actually did fire on US helicopters when they tried to enter Pakistan again. 70% of NATO supplies come through Pakistan. There is no war on terror without Pakistan.
I would assume Pakistan will do and fight in a way that is best for them and their country. Same strategy US using in Iraq, look how great cow boy antics worked in Iraq. Also it seems US and Pakistan both have very different goals, long term US goals are not shared or even approved by Pakistan. I read somewhere even Musharraf was skeptical of US motives.
Fact is without Pakistan their is no war on terror, and it is certainly clear other NATO allies have no intention of aggravating the situation even further.
