How long will it take me to lose 20 lbs with this plan?
Age: 17
Height: 5′4
Weight: 132 lbs
Goal weight(for now): 117 lbs
Food infos: Please keep in mind I am a very busy high school student and I don’t really have the time and the ability to eat more than 3 meals a day, eat fancy stuff, or go on diet programs.
Breakfast: about 1 cup total: Honey bunches of Oats cereal with plain Silk soy milk (about 200 total)
Lunch: Yoplat Light(100), some baby carrots, peach cup (60)
Dinner: various Asian dishes. I mostly eat the vegetables. I don’t eat starches/breads/nuts/etc. after 3 pm.
Dessert/snacks: fruits such as apples and grapes.
I drink a lot of water
Exercise: I run about 45 minutes on the elliptical, burning about 500 calories. I also do mild strength exercises with stuff that’s avaliable in the YMCA.
If you’re really burning 500 calories when you exercise you need to eat more! Your body will hold onto fat if it doesn’t get enough food…add some protein to your diet. Chicken for dinner. more to eat at lunch…maybe a protein bar with your other stuff. protein builds muscle and muscle burns fat.
