Canton School Board airs proposed deficit budget after break-even year
Canton School District pretty much ended the last school year as it began, with a very conservative budget, but next year is projected to have a deficit of close to $2.5 million in the Education Fund, said Superintendent Roy Webb at Monday’s school board meeting. “Don’t expect a break-even year next year,” Webb added.
