Well…let’s see what I can come up with -

Opening batsman 1: Barry Richards – Since you have the likes of Marshall, McGrah and Hadlee on your side I’d like to chose a player who can play pace bowling with ease.

Opening batsman 2: Sir Jack Hobbes – I’ve heard a lot about his ability to score quick runs up the order and the kinda bowling line up you have, Hobbs is the only guy who can confidently stand up against it.

Number 3: Rahul Dravid – If Barry goes down early then I’d need someone to bat out the overs of Marshall and McGrah and the only guy in my opinion who can do that is non other then The Wall.

Middle order : Ricky Ponting – He will play according to the situation of the game and if Barry fires early he’ll keep the momentum going and if my team is down 30-3, he’ll start playing a defensive game.

Middle order: V.V.S Laxman – I’d probably want him in the teab because if his ability to slowly build an innings. Although I wont be expecting a lot from him but he can certainly pull of a very very special innings on his day.

Middle order: Shahid Afridi – Don’t be surprised…I need a player who can score quick runs as well, he’s a handy leg spinner and will probably pick up a few crucial wickets.

Wicket Keeper: M.S. Dhoni – I can’t think of this team without Dhoni, he can join in with Afridi when it comes to hitting the ball and I can also send him up the order it bat out the dangerous overs. He’s the No. 1 batsman in the ODI rankings…he has to be in the team!

Opening bowler: Wasim Akram – I have tons of confidence in this guy, he will defiantly perform. He can bowl those fast yorkers and can swing the ball both ways.

Opening bowler: Dennis Lillee – I don’t think even the likes of Sachin and Richard would like to play against this dude.

The third fast bowler: Imran Khan – He was fast, furious and could scare the batsman with his ever so disciplined line and length. You have taken McGrah so I just have to pick this dude!

Spinner: Anil Kumble – I can imagine him getting Gilly and Kallis’s wicket with ease…plus if the pitch turns out to be of his liking, he will destroy your batting line up.
