If a law states that certian behaviour/practices won’t be tolerated or allowed, does it mean it won’t happen?
This question refers to Arizona Immigration Bill SB1070. The number one excuse from it’s supporters on the racial profiling claim is:
“It’s written on the bill that racial profiling won’t be allowed”.
Does that mean 100% that it will not happen just because it’s written on in the bill?
Are they saying that police officers NEVER EVER break the rules?
No it means that if it happens, the police that do it leave themselves open to disciplinary action and and their departments to law suits.
