their is much difference between only Australian cricket fan & cricket fan.?
in august 2007 my dad company friend from Australia name ‘ jhon hope’ came in india with his wife (actually for company matter ) after work finished my dad invited him & his wife for lunch &after this we decided to go in to my younger brother school (10 yr old) for watching their interschool cricket sport . his team won match , Mr. hope congratulate him & he saw photo on his bag of Kevin pietersen , sachin tendulkar , makhaya ntini & ask to my brother ” ARE THEY CRICKETERS”!!!??? my 10 yr old bro said that ” UNCLE I THINK U ARE NOT CRICKET FAN ” then uncle said ” HEY I AM ONLY A AUSTRALIAN CRICKET FAN ” then one of my brothers friend said ” uncle u not need to know them . then uncle said in his loud & very fast english u know Austrailia is world champion & bla bla (he was so fast in talking so i cant get each word ) Anyway.. iam not cricket fan BUT I know them , i think you shoud have a general knowlege about sport…
I know what you mean. This man who knew nothing about the game was acting superior because his country( Aust) are world Champions. Well we all know someone like that, and they aren’t people you want to be friends with. He was obviously an arrogant snob! Every country has them, even your own!!!
