Tendulkar Daughter

How far you are superstitious?

Even well known personalites have some superstitioius beliefs. For instance Sachin Tendulkar, whenever he scores a century, he used to waive his bat towards sky and thanks his father. As far as I am concerned, I am always having a small portrait of my parents in my purse(wallet) and used to see it. My friend used to have his daughter’s photo in his shirt pocket. What about you?
Some funny beliefs: One of my friend used to wear a pair of old chappals, whenever he attends auspicious function.
My brother always leave his home after seeing my sis-in-law’s face
My neighbour if he sees a particular lady while leaving his home, comes back & takes a glass of water&go again.
My nephew while starting his car, used to go in front atleast a foot&then puts reverse gear!!!! etc

hehe.. i continue my journey if a cat crosses my way, i clip nails inside my house, usually at night, regardless if it’s a friday or tuesday. i sweep house at night, i cut my hair on auspicious days, i dont keep my parents pictures in my purse, and many more… on my brother’s wedding day, the ladies of the family carried ’seeru thattu’ to the wedding hall.. my widow aunt was standing at a corner of the house, i dragged her to the fore and insisted that she carries one of the ‘thattu’ because whether she has her husband or not, she’s still my aunt. and nobody in the house objected to it because we dont believe in such things.

but i have this .. well i dont call it superstitous but rather sentiment. i keep my husband’s picture in my purse, i make sure i say ‘i love u’ to him at least once a day, and i put the socks for him every day before he leaves home. even when we’re in his mother’s house, im the one who makes the tea for him or who serves him food, not his mother.

***i like ur brother, about him seeing his wife’s face before leaving home. thats sweet.

anyway my dad is fine. very fine. thank you.
