Is SACHIN TENDULKAR the greatest batsmen alive?

Ponting and sehwag are no where near sachin, i could understand someone saying Lara, but Ponting and sehwag, that is silly thing to say
He has the technique, the hunger to make more runs and more centuries, he has played now for almost 19 years nonstop in more than 400 onedayers and more than 150 tests, he has all the strokes in his bat, he can bat in any gear, he is a good runner between the wickets-The potential is there But this will only earn him 50 out of 100 Because the other 50 are lost for below:
Has he performed to his potential? Has he performed when it was a must for him to bat well for India? As a batsman, his record in majority of one-day cup finals (except the CB series and Sharjah cup final against Australia) that he has played, is very poor. His record in the fourth innings of test match is very poor- India was unable to save the test match. Many times he has gifted his wicket to the bowler instead of making the bowler toil hard to get it-Gavaskar or Bradman or Lara made the bowlers toil hard to get their wicket, many a times Sachin has got out leaving the job incomplete which only he was capable of finishing- Miandad was there till the last ball of Sharjah Cup final and he finished the job for Pakistan, compare this to the 1999 test against Pakistan at Chennai, Sachin had made 136 in India’s score of 253 for 6 still 18 runs short of victory, Sachin gave his wicket and India lost the match by 13 runs. Even in India’s famous wins at Kolkatta 2001, Adelaide 2003, Johannesburg 2007, test series won in England 2007, Sachin’s performance as batsman was average. These are where Miandad, Gavaskar, Bradman, Boycott, Ponting, Dravid, Laxman, Waugh brothers and Ganguly are above Sachin in their batting skills- The reality is Sachin is not the greatest batsman alive.
