What part of AZ law goes against the Federal Governments immigration laws? What case do they have?
“the law, due to take effect July 29, usurps the federal government’s “pre-eminent authority” under the Constitution to regulate immigration.”
The Obama Administration apparently has confused the terms “regulate” and “enforce”. SB1070 enforces existing federal law — it does not “regulate” it nor does it change it in any way. The only possible argument against this is to say that it is an act of federal regulation NOT to enforce the laws.

There is only one argument that the Feds are trying to use, and that is Preemption. This is stating that the Feds would be interrupted and interfered with doing the control of immigration and border security. They are fighting a lost cause, since they are not doing anything. Arizona is a winner on this one.
