On the immigration issue, do you feel Washington’s leaders are not listening to the American people?

With the passing of sb1070 in Arizona, I am stunned by the numbers of Americans who support the state in its effort to curb the escalating crime rate there. Who can blame them? Now all the media focus is on celebrities like George Lopez and Shakira and half of the state of California boycotting Arizona to force it to back down. I am a liberal Democrat who also supports Arizona in its cause and am very disappointed that the man I voted for is looking to make trouble for this state. Republican leaders are equally at fault. What can we do to make them finally listen to us?

You are a reasonble person, and I agree on Republicans. Term limits would get their attention. Career politicians get stale and cocky regardless of Party.
