What do you think of the American GI Forum’s letter to Governor Brewer about SB1070?

I guess the American GI Forum is a communist front group that hates America, right?
The author of the letter is a US veteran.

I’m a college student and veteran writing my Chicano Studies term paper on the American GI Forum. Commander Galvan’s letter is good, and the AGIF is one of the most honorable advocacy organizations in America. Their credentials as patriots are beyond reproach.
But I’d like to know what else they’re doing about SB 1070. Writing that letter was a good thing, but it’s not enough.
I want to know, what else are they doing about it?
I’ve sent e-mails out to all their national officers, and I hope to get some replies. But if anybody else can give me any leads, I’d appreciate it.
