Sb1070 Federal

If federal immigration laws in Arizona SB1070 mirrors that claims of supporters that does not make it unconstitutional?

Supreme Court ruled that Congress' power to regulate naturalization, Article 1, Section 8, including the power to regulate immigration.

No, no is just what its proponents claim, it is true. It does not exactly mirror, but close. AZ law is actually more stringent enforcement than federal law. Under federal law, a federal agent can ask anyone of their status of citizenship for any reason. Not according to law AZ. Under SB1070 should be no police intervention on another matter and the officer must have reasonable grounds to suspect the person may be in the country illegally. I do not know why you think the AZ law mirror federal law, is unconstitutional, but did not, and the Scot said in similar cases.
