This rumour seems to have originated from La Gazzeta in Italy, which is always making sh*t up. But if it’s true, it might be a good move for Rafa. I’m sure Barça will prefer Puyol and Pique in central defense, plus there’s rumours of them picking up more defenders, so playing time won’t always be there for Rafa. Fiorentina is quality team with European asperations, at Rafa’s age it wouldn’t be a bad move.
