Did anyone think that protestors of SB1070 would get such support?
The numbers are in and it’s estimated that 100K people were in downtown Phoenix on May 29, 2010 for the “Day of Action” to protest SB1070. Compare that to the 5K that were in Tempe to support the law. So, I guess you’d say more people oppose the law than support it! Guess those polls were wrong!

Yes. But even the sponsors knew it. Republicans just want to look like they are doing something and embarrass the Democrats before the midterms.
