Do the people touting Jan Brewer know that she already caved in and changed SB1070 weeks ago?
They passed an amendment to the bill changing the phrase “lawful contact” to “ any lawful stop, detention or arrest made by a law enforcement official or a law enforcement agency of this state or a law enforcement official or a law enforcement agency of a county, city, town or other political subdivision of this state in the enforcement of any other law or ordinance of a county, city or town or this state ”
That was the way it was before they passed SB 1070. That is the way it has been in just about every U.S. city
