Some of the featured videos are the latest music videos, like Lady Gaga and Beyonce’s “Telephone,” bizarre pop culture videos like “Incestual Undertones in Star Wars” and funny home videos like “Three Year Old Girl Cries Over Justin Bieber.” Bored.com sifts through the rest of YouTube to bring you popular videos like these ones and more.
Furthermore, you can use Bored.com to do a bunch of quizzes, minus the Spyware you get doing Facebook quizzes. Don’t worry, they’re not all a complete waste of time (although the really fun ones are). If you are in fact worried about your brain melting after spending too much time on the site, you can do quizzes on trivia and fun facts as well as riddles and brain teasers. All of these are surefire ways to kill the dentist lobby waiting blues with 4G.
You can even make money on Bored.com. With links to sites where you can do surveys for cash or win money with your awesome gaming skills, no time waiting will be wasted time. As with all sites that offer to make you money, though, make sure that you aren’t getting yourself roped into a scam.
Next time you make an appointment for something that’s going to involve a lot of waiting, be sure to bring along your laptop and mobile air card. By the time they call your name, you’ll be begging them to call someone else because you’re having too much fun.
