Where do I go to exchange USD to Yen in Tokyo?
I am planning a trip to Tokyo. I have never been to a foreign country before. What is the best way to exchange money? Should I exchange all of it before I leave? Will I be able to exchange it at the hotel I am staying at? I bank with Bank of America. Will I be able to use my ATM card in Japan?
You can exchange at a bank or airport. I think it’s better for you to exchange in Japan than in US because you can exchange at better rate.
I don’t think you can use BoA card unless it has Cirrus or Plus or that kind of international mark.
