Should I Leave my Wife??
I’ve been with my wife for 10 years, since we were 18. Holidays, to her, are the foundation of a ‘good life’. The issue is that I earn less than her, and I do want to spend all of my money on holidays. At least not all the time. When I tell her that I want to save the money, that I don’t want to go, she starts to cry, shout, and question my reasons for wanting to save money.
The fact of the matter is that over the last 3 years we have visited England, Switzerland, Fiji, America, Vanuatu, Hawaii, and Japan! Each time I return home with a near ZERO bank balance. Yet she still thinks this isn’t enough. Two months ago we visited Japan. Now she wants to go on holiday during Easter. The arguments have begun again.
I have a decent job. I’m not a bum. I help with the housework. And yet she questions my manhood, bickers that my priorities are out of line, that I should earn more money, that my goals aren’t confluent with hers.
2 years of this. I am ready to leave. Should I?
