What is the best bank for a college student to open an account with?
I am currently a Junior in college and I am looking for a new bank. At the moment, I have Bank of America, but I am so sick of their terrible service, hidden fees, and low interest rates. I only signed up with Bank of America because my parents have them. I would like to open a new account else where but am unfamiliar with the other banks (since I’ve only had BOA). I was wondering if anyone can tell me how the other banks are from experience with them.
I am looking for a bank that have locations in several cities throughout California (because I travel a lot to and from school), 24 hour ATM service, good interest rates, great service, and good rates/accounts for students. I am also working two jobs and would prefer it if they had direct deposit services (which I think most banks do, but I’m not sure).
